1. Definitions

Cookies are small text strings stored on your device. Local storage holds larger key-value pairs in the browser. Both can persist between visits unless cleared.

2. Strictly necessary items

The consent banner stores an acknowledgment flag in local storage (key name similar to “privacy_notice_ack_v1”) so the banner does not repeat on every page view. This supports your explicit choice and is treated as necessary for UI consistency.

3. Optional analytics (if enabled later)

If analytics are activated, a separate consent mechanism will describe the vendor, cookie names, retention, and opt-out path. Until such a mechanism appears, only the acknowledgment storage described above is intentionally written by our scripts on first-party pages.

4. Third-party embeds

Embedded maps may set their own cookies or similar technologies. Review the map provider’s policy for details. Consider blocking third-party cookies in your browser if you prefer to limit such storage.

5. Managing preferences

You can delete site data through browser settings. Doing so may cause the banner to reappear. Industry opt-out pages exist for interest-based advertising, though this site does not run such ads as configured today.
